Monkey Baby Bon Bon was known for two things: his irresistible charm and his endless curiosity. Wherever Bon Bon went, mischief seemed to follow like a delighted shadow. One sunny afternoon, his caretaker, Miss Hana, decided to take him on a simple car ride—just a quick trip to town. But with Bon Bon, nothing was ever simple.
As soon as they pulled into the gas station, Bon Bon’s eyes lit up. From the passenger seat he spotted colorful snacks, shiny soda machines, and people coming and going with bags of treats. This, to him, wasn’t a gas station—it was a wonderland.
While Miss Hana stepped out to pay, Bon Bon seized his moment. He wriggled out of his little booster seat, hopped across the console, and slipped out the driver’s door just as it clicked open. His tiny feet pattered excitedly across the pavement.
First stop: the windshield-cleaning bucket.
Bon Bon dipped the long squeegee into the soapy water, lifted it proudly—and immediately lost control of it. The spongey end slapped against the side of a parked minivan, leaving a dripping streak of bubbles. Startled but delighted, he gave the car a second swipe, this time leaving a perfect foamy streak right across the driver’s window.
A couple nearby gasped. Bon Bon waved cheerfully.
Next, he scampered toward the snack display outside the store. A small tower of chip bags rustled in the breeze. One curious tug and—crash!—the entire display collapsed like a salty waterfall. Bags of barbecue chips skidded across the sidewalk while Bon Bon sat in the center of the chaos, a single chip hanging out of his tiny mouth.
Miss Hana emerged just in time to hear a store clerk shout, “Ma’am! Your… monkey is buying snacks—without paying!”
Bon Bon, now attempting to drag a family-size bag of banana chips much larger than himself, froze when he saw her. Then, sheepishly, he held out the bag as though asking permission.
Miss Hana scooped him up, apologizing profusely to everyone in sight. She restacked the chip display as best she could, paid for the banana chips, and carried Bon Bon back to the car.
As they drove away, Bon Bon munched happily, legs swinging, completely unbothered by the chaos he’d created. Miss Hana could only laugh. With Bon Bon around, even a quick stop at a gas station turned into an unforgettable adventure.
And Bon Bon?
He considered it a perfect day—full of bubbles, snacks, and just the right amount of trouble.Attach
